This is Jamie Grace on boys, relationships, and dating. I so agree with her! I don't want to waste my time with somebody who doesn't deserve my time. There's gotta be something more than just 'having fun'. So why don't we start waking up and let others know too?!? :D
Also, let me know what you think of her "Trip Down Picture Lane". ;)

True Beauty-A Mandisa Perspective

To all my sisters...TRUE beauty isn’t what we see on the outside. I believe real beauty doesn't come from our outward appearance, but from the inward beauty that’s developed from a relationship with the Lord. That's what Peter said in the third chapter of his first book. And as someone who just celebrated a birthday and is quickly creeping closer and closer to the top of an infamous "hill," I particularly love verse 4 of that chapter. In it, Peter says that beauty, "should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight." Can I get a witness on the "unfading" part? LOL! As we age and wrinkles, gray hair and Shrek eyes increase, cultivating a relationship with our Father gives women of God an intangible beauty that won't fade away, but grows more radiant day by day! Hallelujah!

And if Our God is for Us...

If our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
If our God is with us, then who could stand against us?
If our God is our strong tower, where else could we run?
If our God is mighty to save, why deny Him?
A girl after God's own heart. That is the girl I've always wanted to be. Growing up believing that Jesus Christ came to save this world through His death, I have longed to be totally God's. Have you ever read the Elsie Dinsmore series? After I read those books when I was 11 or 12, I wanted nothing more than to be like her: a meek and quiet spirit, just like Christ commands us to be. If you are anyting like me, however, you know how annoying it is to find that, in all reality you are more like Jo March or Anne Shirley: outspoken, sharp, and tend to have your foot in your mouth. As it is, a majority of Christians are. We pay little heed to what Christ commands us to do in our own lives, and instead judge others' lives. (Which, might I add, can get PRETTY, well, bad.) As daughters of the One True King, we must show our lights by showing God's love. We need to fix ourselves before we fix others. And, well, I have no idea where I was going with this post! Ha ha! Well, I am new to this blogging thing, so you must forgive me. May the Lord bless you as you walk in your life of faith!
